About LivingVertical

I’m Stephen Richert, founder of LivingVertical. Here’s our story:

I’m a documentary adventure photographer. I also happen to live with type 1 diabetes (since 1999). I originally started LivingVertical as a platform to share my adventures and photography projects. Adventure gave me an opportunity to create something new and positive from my struggle-that’s the basis of my photography and it’s why I am sharing my experience with you.

I’m based in Massachusetts (currently) and available for projects and assignments worldwide! Feel free to contact me and check out my film projects and photography portfolios.
